Our client, a large manufacturer and distributor of Diesel Engines based in the Scoresby precinct are seeking an Administration Assistant for an immediate start. this role will assist other positions in the team as required so we are looking for a flexible team member that can adapt to different roles.

The successful candidate must fit well into a hard-working and very professional office environment.

They must also have had experience with the following:

  • Customer service
  • Reception 
  • Data entry
  • Accounts experience
  • Experience working within a Corporate environment
  • Experienced in the use of numerous different Administration systems & programs

HSE Project Manager

Our client is a world leading specialist in the engine and power generation industry & they are currently seeking a suitably qualified & experienced HSE Manager to join their team in Scoresby VIC.
The Position will require an immediate start and will run until Mid-2019 then be subject to review after that time.

The Successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in HSE Management at a senior level preferably in the construction or manufacturing sectors or similar & must be able to tick “Yes” to all of the requirements listed below.

  • You must Hold a Tertiary or other formally recognised qualification (University or TAFE) in OHS, Environment and/or related disciplines
  • You will need to have at least 5 years’ worth of experience working as an OHSE Professional within a Construction Or Manufacturing environment
  • Proven Project Management skills & experience
  • Be highly Computer Literate with Data Management & Analytical skills
  • Be able to prepare & present professional MS PowerPoint Documents & Presentations to stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
  • Sound knowledge of HSE Legislation both within Australia & the South Pacific region is essential
  • Proven experience in Building & Maintaining sustainable & positive relationships with Stakeholders across all levels is essential

Management Accountant - Six Month Fixed Term Role

Our client who provide highly affordable, architecturally-designed homes and 5 star resort style villages, are now looking for an experienced Management Accountant on a 6 month fixed term contract based East of Perth.

As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for;

  • Payroll – Administer journal template from in-house system to MYOB
  • Financials - Create Monthly / YTD Financials through exports from MYOB into text Files, Create and maintain reports as directed comparing the actuals to budget on a monthly and YTD basis by group trust accounts, villages and by category and Create other management reports as requested
  • CRM - Create Sales and other reports for sales and update regularly for the team
  • R-Group - Update R Group charge templates and DD life stylers on a monthly basis for all villages as they come on board
  • Rebates - Set up template for automatic Direct Payment and refund life stylers as required
  • Water Consumption - Set up template for automatic DD and charge lifestylers on an annual basis
  • Rent - Create and administer rental templates for automatic DD for lifestylers which are done on a fortnightly basis
  • Budgets - Create budget templates for each village plus head office and Create consolidation budgets
  • RMS - Set up and administer RMS for Serenitas as required
  • MYOB - Administrator / Super User for MYOB

Senior Lawyer - Taxation

Our client, a major global resources company, is seeking the services of a Senior Lawyer based in Perth or Brisbane to advise on and manage group strategic and material litigation, investigations and disputes. The role is also the key legal contact for the tax function in the area of tax audits, mediation and litigation.

This is a full time position direct with the client.
 
As a key partner to the business, the Senior Lawyer identifies and manages legal risks in a cost effective manner, including advising senior management on strategic legal issues.

The focus of the role is to:
 
• Manage all stages of large scale litigation, investigations and disputes including a particular focus on corporate taxation
• Provide timely, accurate, independent, strategic, and commercially pragmatic legal advice whilst managing legal and commercial risks
• Be familiar with relevant legislative frameworks and audit and investigation processes
• Deal with regulators including information requests, and interviews
• Be familiar with litigation, alternative dispute resolution methods and legislative and judicial appeals processes
• Conduct risk management strategies, including preparation of evidence of transactions to support commercial and legal outcomes


To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:


• Licensed lawyer, qualified to practice in Australia (preferably in QLD or WA)
• Substantial professional experience in a commercially oriented legal environment (including top tier law firm and in house major corporate in multiple jurisdictions).
• Significant litigation experience in material and complex cases including corporate taxation
• Strong commercial and contractual experience in a broad-based commercial environment, including risk identification, analysis and management and litigation management.
• Strong leadership, management and communication skills

The role will require working primarily across our hubs in Brisbane and Perth, while being based in one of them.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre employment checks.
