OH&S Specialist

We are seeking experienced OH&S Specialist to join our Client’s friendly team to implement best practice OH&S policies, procedures and reporting.

Your duties will include:

• Implementing OHS Management System;
• Providing safety advice and assistance to staff;
• Overseeing implementation of OH&S requirements;
• Work Place Safety Inspections;
• Incident management, prevention and investigation;
• Maintaining the OH&S incident management database;
• Implementing hazard identification and risk management processes;
• Mentoring our Senior GeoTech with safety processes and procedures.

Ideally you will have a minimum of 4+ year’s field experience in uranium exploration or mining with a passion for developing a behavioural based safety culture. You will use your high level communication and interpersonal skills to drive best practice and continuous improvement relating to all safety matters. Relevant qualifications and/or certificates in Safety, Senior First Aid are essential.

The position offered will be short term contract role for approximately 3 months on a 2/1 roster FIFO from Perth.
