Our client is seeking to appoint an experienced Production/Project Manager to be responsible for planning, managing and controlling assigned project or projects and site production activities. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring timely project delivery whilst maintaining project contractual and commercial rigour.

Key duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Work independently to organise and prioritise demands, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast paced environment with multiple and competing demands
  • Prepare and update the project risk register
  • Prepare weekly progress reports
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally
  • Attend site meetings with senior management to discuss progress of project, safety and the environment and other project issues
  • Liaise with subcontractors for resolution of site technical production matters as required
  • Manages and directs site personnel on the project
  • Review project master schedule to optimise manning levels and timely completion of contract works
  • Review subcontractors progress payment claims, as required assist the Contract Control Manager in evaluation of subcontractors’ variation claims and estimates for emergent works
  • Implement and maintain a continuous improvement program for site production activities

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a large marine engineering or construction project environment
  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Trade background and experience to equivalent

Our client is seeking to appoint an experienced Contract Control Manager to be responsible for managing project cost control methods and subcontractor performance.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage project cost control methods, monitor costs and reconcile progress claims and forecasts;
  • Prepare financial analysis, profitability, risk reward status, financial/commercial risks reports;
  • Manage project site mobilisation and de-mobilisation and ensure site cleanliness at completion of de-mobilisation;
  • Identification of project delivery schedule and any impacts to project schedule critical path;
  • Assist in developing project management plans for each assigned project in conjunction with Production Manager;

On behalf of one our clients, we are seeking experienced Underground Loader Operators (LHD) to commence immediately!

As a key member of the Production Team, you will be required to operate the Sandvik LH410 (Toro 7) Loader and assist with other Underground work as required. You will be responsible for the movement of all broken material in accordance with forecasted bogging rates to ensure targets outlined in the underground mining schedule are achieved.

This role is a FIFO Perth contract position on a 2/1 roster, commencing immediately.

Skills and Requirements
• Operation of Underground Loaders (LHD), Tele-Remote Bogger’s, Integrated Tool Carriers and Light Vehicles in accordance with procedures.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of underground loaders with regular inspections and reporting on faults.
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to working safely in a team.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of work safety practices and procedures.
• Identifying environmental risks through hazard and incident reporting.
• Willingness to perform duties outside of the normal Bogger Operator role, as required.

EOI - Indigenous Mobile Plant Operators

We are now seeking expressions of interest for Indigenous Mobile Plant Operatoprs living in Western Australia for upcoming roles with our Blue Chip Client.

Available will be numerous positions with start dates ranging from immediate to several weeks.

Successful candidates will possess the following:

• Western Australian residency
• Valid and active drivers license

Proven experience  on one or more of the following equipment is required :

   -    Excavator - Production size (100T and above0 Hitachi/CAT/Leibherr or similar

   -    Loader - Komatsu WA600/900/1200, CAT 992/993/994 or similar

   -    Dozer - CAT D9/10/11 and/or Wheel Dozer
 
   -    Grader - CAT 14M and above

Candidates must be willing to operate trucks as required. The following truck experience is preferred

   -    Dump Trucks – Komatsu 630E/730E/830E/930E, Terex MT3700/4400 or CAT 789 and above.

Water Cart/Scraper/Roller experience will be seen as advantageous.
