Underground Dispatch / Mine Control Operator

On behalf of one our clients, we are seeking experienced Underground Dispatch/Mine Control Operator to commence immediately!

As a key member of the Mine Control Team, you will be required to assist in the running of the mine's operations. You will primarily control all centralised communications and data management in a timely, safe and efficient manner.

This role is a FIFO Perth contract position on a 2/1 roster, commencing immediately.

Skills and Requirements

? Monitor, coordinate and report on various aspects of underground operations, including personnel, Mobile and Fixed Assets.
? Excellent verbal communication skills with a Positive engaging manner.
? Monitor and record operational data and equipment status in the DOME / Pitram mine control system, with a high degree of accuracy.
? Provide support and information to the Supervisors.
? Contribute to continuous improvement of work safety practices and procedures.
? Willingness to perform duties outside of the normal Dispatch/Mine Control Operator role, as required.

Technical Training Developer

Our Client is a leader in the Gold Mining Industry and currently has a requirement for an experienced Technical Training Developer to work out of Perth on a 4 day on / 3 day off FIFO roster for 6 months.

Your primary function for this role will be to collate various training documents and modules which have been used in previous years along with re-working/ updating the existing training material based on input from other trainers and safety personnel to ensure positive learning and training outcomes.

The ideal candidate would be someone who can reverse engineer all this information into succinct packages to facilitate successful outcomes in training and critical objectives. You will also be responsible for looking at packages, online development and be able to interpret previous procedures and reworking them into an up to date format applicable to current site requirements.

This work will revolve specifically around the ore processing side and site specific safety guidelines and procedures.

Work scope will also involve:-

  • High level of written and spoken communication skills and extremely proficient with Microsoft Power Point and good at excel and other applications within the TD space such as Adobe Acrobat, Captiva or any other design software.
  • Proven forward thinking with the ability to offer new ideas
  • The ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver quality packages

As a business they specialise in Fixed Plant Maintenance on Primary Crushers, Secondary Crushers, Tertiary Crushers, Screens, Conveyors and General Maintenance around the plant.

As a key member of the Production Team, you will be required to operate the Sandvik LH410 (Toro 7) Loader and assist with other Underground work as required. You will be responsible for the movement of all broken material in accordance with forecasted bogging rates to ensure targets outlined in the underground mining schedule are achieved.
