You MUST have previous crushing/screening experience in a mining environment to be considered for this position.

Machine Operator

Our client who operates in the Guildford area, currently requires an applicant who can operate machinery in the manufacture of undercarriage components on track based heavy earthmoving equipment.

The role involves operating welding machinery to weld components to earth moving undercarriage track combined with occasional hand welding as well as operating a 200 tonne press and undertaking submerged ARC Welding.

The role is for an immediate start and involve Monday – Friday work, this may lead to the opportunity for afternoon shifts later down the track.

Applicants will need to have the following :
•Demonstrated experience operating machinery used in the manufacturing process.
•Operated hand crane/lift
•Dogman work
•Have a solid mechanical aptitude

Based north of the River in their Balcatta workshop your work will involve fabricating stainless steel frames

You must be a fabricator with good stainless steel welding skills using MIG and TIG and also be able to read structural and engineering drawings.

To be considered for this role you must have;

•             Good experience in fabrication combined with welding
•             Experience welding stainless steel  using MIG and TIG
•             Workshop experience

These positions will be on either  a 2/1 or 8/6 FIFO roster from either Perth, Geraldton, Albany or Busselton.

A HR License is a minimal requirement for this position.   Applicants must be based in Western Australia. Candidates cannot be considered without meeting those requirements.

Successful candidates will have experience operating the following equipment (or similar size equipment) in a Production Mining environment:
